Basically, the scene takes place on top of a wedding cake. The bride and groom toppers are standing together and looking lovey-dovey as usual. They lean in for a kiss and a piece of lace covers the screen, casting them in silhouette. Everything seems adorable, but then the groom lets out a small scream and leans back in surprise. His "wife" has bitten off his mouth, leaving a big, gaping, chocolately smile. There's an awkward pause, as they both stare at each other...but then they decide to just start making out again, because hey, love conquers hunger right?
It sounds really creepy, I know...but in my head it looks absolutely adorable! Just trust me...
Here are some sketches for the two lovelies...if all goes well, I'll beable to tie down the character designs this weekend and get started on storyboarding. Wish me luck!
